Test Port Instability

Post by Enig » Tue Aug 04, 2009 10:55 am

It might just be me, but just as a head's up and to make sure it gets to all the right people at the same time, the test port might be running into a bit of a rough patch.

Two things I've noticed; it isn't recognizing my character's builder status (for commands like aassign and download), and it seems to crash whenever I use the score command (but not account).

(On the bright side I went here to test out a (broken) script that I was experimenting with and trying to fix and it had spontaneously (?!) started working. It's probably an errant poltergeist that's causing the whole mess :P)

Heya, I don't know if the recent problems with the test port have only affected me or not. I rather suspect that might be the case. Anyhow, since posting here got my plight to the right ears pretty fast last time I figured it'd be worth trying again :)

The symptoms I'm seeing are as follows:

When attempting to use the aassign, download, and alist commands I get the response;
'Huh?'

I can, however, use the oinvoke, copyover, and goto commands normally.

For a while I was having trouble accessing help files but that seems to have cleared up so it might not be related to the aforementioned issue.
The message I was getting was 'Error while attempting to retrieve help: vector::_M_range_check'

As always, thanks in advance for your assistance with this! :)

I had the same echo and have fewer abilities now (Dalvyn speculates that level requirements for some commands have changed).

I have the same problem. My character is not high enough level to wizinvis, but I can't use goto to get to my area without it.
