The House Invincible

Post by Harroghty » Sat Jul 24, 2010 6:59 pm

A vellum notice penned in a careful, practiced hand is posted to the door of The House of the Everlasting Vigil, Helm's temple in Waterdeep...
Adventurers,

The House Invincible, Helm's fortress in the Gem of the North, has been closed to both the faithful and others. It was my decision that the risk was not worth the gain.

Events of late have demanded that I change my position. Therefore I invite a party of adventurers to gather and resolve the danger. Details will be furnished upon arrival, but suffice to say that it will be a challenge and those who apply ought to have equal parts daring and determination.

Vigilant Master Erssler Thamm
OOC: This will be an event that will probably last four hours (ballpark). It will be a group-sized dungeon crawl into the new area, House Invincible, led by the Vigilant Master. Please RSVP in this thread. I am thinking about next Saturday or Sunday (31 July or 1 August). Anyone have a preference about which day and then what time? I am pretty flexible.

I'd like to go as Selveem, provided melee cannon is needed. :D

Give me a better time frame so I can arrange stuff around it and I'll dig up one of my collective to go.

Sunday would be better for me for the most part, I have a bbq in the evening to attend but otherwise I should be able to make anytime that day.

Thanks for the feedback and interest.

Based upon your responses: How does this time suit people? (Sunday, 1 August at 1600 UTC.)

We can course correct if need be in order to have the max participation.

Also. This event will be for only SIX player characters (PC). I will ask for RSVPs once we have settled on the time and will take them in the order that they are posted here. (The exception will be that if none of the first six are Helmites than the first Helmite to RSVP will bump the sixth RSVP.) If someone does not show then I will pull available (and willing) PCs who are in game at the time.

Assuming the airline actually delivers my suitcase that they claim they found, and I get my laptop back, Xryon can attend.

Okay. Time looks good.

I'll count you four as the first RSVPs. Please, the rest of you go ahead with them. Two more open spots, but I'd be glad to have people on standby with the understanding that you are just that: on standby.

That early I'll likely still be working on school stuff. I'll try to get online, but cant promise anything. Standby works for me.
