I consider Gilain, a well aged fighter, to be my main character in recent years... so, I appreciate the non-caster comment quite well. And I only listed a few options to make a point. Didn't feel right to list all possible favour gaining options.
Cannot go into detail, obviously, but I bought 3 recall potions 2 days before the copyover, 2 on one character, 1 on another. Several vendors are out-of-stock regularly but a few are out there. And there are other means to travel besides potions.

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.

Re: Supplicating
Well, at the time I posted this, I THOUGHT it was a good idea, but so many good counter-points have been made. It sounds like you all have put a lot of thought into it. I'm just some newby, but I'll continue trying to contribute ideas. Somethings I'll be wrong, but at least I'm trying to contribute, lol, and Gilain is awesome.

Re: Supplicating
Theleus, it's not a matter of you being "wrong." Please, don't think that. It's a matter of conflicting ideas of fairness, that's all. It's not that none of us do not see your point:
Your God does something for you and now you're on their **** list? Yeah, it does seem a little wonky, but from a coding and fairness perspective, it seems generous.
Sure, we can justify it with little back-and-forths about 'Oh, well this God is petty so they went out of their way just for you' but in reality, the Gods are immensely powerful and what you offer them far outweighs the little favors they do you.
They brought you back from the dead; so what? You've personally converted three people of opposing faiths, brought dozens of followers into your God's church, preached to hundreds about your God's virtues, and gained an entire life's worth of glory you've dedicated to their name!
Though the players of FK may not agree (almost never! *cough* ), this MUD thrives on the creativity and opinions of its entire player base. It's alright to have unpopular ideas and even to suggest them if you feel strongly about them regardless the lack of support you feel you might receive, but don't get discouraged. We appreciate the good nature behind the idea.

Re: Supplicating
Never be afraid or worried about posting an idea. I have posted many, many ideas over the years. Some good, some bad, some laughable. I regret none of them. Some of the best ideas around here started from threads on completely different subjects. "No" will happen, but even "no" can spark new ideas. Keep posting.
