Will Alchemy get a trade? I know brew is a skill but thats just to make a spell into a potion form. My thought is with the right receipies it could range anywhere from a thief making a poison for his blade to a halfling making waybread. Restricted by the actual receipies floating around the mud in the form of notes, parchment, books ect, ect and your knowlege in the trade. Proper RP will keep people in line, so a Paladin concocting a poison or an evil priest making a healing poultis would be frowned apon. And make a few certain receipies granted only by class and/or race, a failure everytime no matter the trade level if the class/race condition is not met.

Doesnt sound like that bad of a idea. I like the alignment restrictions although there is some problems like the evil priest...What if he was dieing and needed to make a healing poultice for himself?

Er. Priests, evil or not, heal people. Evil's heal their own faith. Making a poultice for themself or other faithful isn't a bad RP thing.

Have to agree with Rhelian. It is my Lords will that I can heal myself after destroying some wothless Mystran so that I have the power to find myself a High Knight of Helm and destroy them!

Mind you, come crawling in bleeding after killing a Mystran for me expecting me to use my Lords spells to heal you and you got a surprise coming

But thats just my faith, many other evil faiths will definetly heal their own, and other evils that serve there purpose. Just because we are evil does not mean we DON'T work together.

I see. I'll go ahead and sum up what I had originally written, which wasn't too much. Basically, in response to Drakenor's point I said that if it was not within proper RP for an evil priest to make a healing potion, then the fact that he were dying would not be reason to all of a sudden make one (if he were sticking to his RP). But as Rhelian pointed out, priests heal regardless of their alignment; their alignment would only impact who they decide to heal. Sorry about that.
