This is by design, not a bug. Yes, the armor is made of energy but it protects as if it were studded leather. Thanks though!

I have the problem with Eltsac's Bright Cowl (made of energy, but light armor).
I understand they might be coded to give some decent protection, but then could such item have enchantment to add ac armor and not been flagged as light armor?
Because as light armor, energy pieces of armor give chance to fail casting, which seems strange to me considering the material.

Pretty sure bright gloves were intended to be that way considering the AC on them.
I think "high quality silk sleeves" weren't supposed to be armor, though, considering where they are earned and who has access to them. There's a set of such items, but these are the only ones I still have.
