BABs for priests and thieves

Post by Hrosskell » Mon May 23, 2011 9:48 am

BABs for priests and thieves
A number of long-standing issues have been fixed with aggressive mobs and formations, and in particular, how the two interact.

Quoted from a post by the guy upstairs on Apr. 27th. Just curious as to what was actually changed concerning these guys, if you remember. Feel free to delete this clutter-post.

Sorry - what exactly is the question? BABs? As far as I remember, both priests and thieves were getting warrior BABs instead of their own. Regarding aggressive mobs, they were broken in that they would hit everyone in a group once, then consistently attack the last person to enter the room. They have been fixed to randomly attack one person without the 'free' hit on every party member. When randomly selecting a target, they take formation into account such that they are most likely, but not restricted to, attack someone in the front rank and least likely to attack someone in the back rank.

The question was: "What belongs under this heading?" In the original post you said something about the formation fix, but then said the same thing again under the Thief & Cleric BAB heading. That clears up both issues very precisely though! Thanks!
