Not able to memorize a spell despite resting and knowing it

I rest, I know the spell (it's cyan) but when I type memorize 'cure light' it says I do not know it...

What's going on? I read through help magic and help spells several times...

Don't use quotation marks when you memorise any spells. e.g. mem cure light

Do you know what the ask channel is? This is the perfect thing for that channel. :)

Just use:

ask <your question>

And once someone has answered, it's merely..

ask <your reply> !
