If you RP every death as a huge event when you're a brand new player, you'll get so depressed you'll quit. Take it with a grain of salt, it's all in the learning curve. I bet I died 100 times on my first PC from level 1 to 30

Actually, I probably did about the same with Elke, despite the effort it took to rp shock, fear and awe after the fifth death of the week... but I -did- rp every death as a huge event. I've already said earlier in this thread that the difficulties with death as it is make the rp very, very difficult. I think we'd all rather that death was more fun, and that's why I suggest the Fugue plane expansion, and definitely, definitely making it easier for lowbies.
