Problems with the new ranger armor prof level

All armour found with "elven chainmail" in the keywords has now been updated to be light mail. This should manifest on the game port at the next copyover (which given how stable we've been, may be a while!)

Hide armour is a different beast; it is very hard to know what should stay hide, and what should be changed. I would appreciate it if any rangers could inform me of the exact long and short adjectives (what do you see when you have it in inv, what do you see when it is on the ground) of any hide armour that is definitely designed for rangers. Thoughts on whether the description and adjectives should be changed would be appreciated. Please use a PM, I'll list items as I get them done.

I was wondering and I thought this the best place to ask, but are rangers getting the combat style choice of ranged or melee?
