Re: Riposte wrote:My logs do not go back before November 28, 2008. However, since that date on none of my characters have I gotten a single riposte response if riposte success echo is 'You riposte.' That includes on Torand who I got it as soon as I possibly could; I was wielding a shield and rapier since a low level and was fighting almost exclusively mobs that possess weapons.
Re: Shieldwork wrote:I have a total count of 336 success echoes of shieldwork. Additionally, it appears shieldwork does not always show successes. I got an increase in shieldwork without even seeing me block an attack with my shield:

It'd be nice if all success echoes were made a bit clearer, really. Like sometimes you 'duck under' attacks and such. I think a lot of the echoes are just successful AC avoidance, but there's really nothing clear noted about it.Re: Dodge wrote:Dodge is a more difficult count than the rest.. You can 'dodge' spells just by making your successful reflex save, so I can't just count up the instances. It'd be nice if, in the future, that was changed. Maybe something like "You manage to {evade, slip away from, avoid, sidestep, elude, escape} Zorinar's cheesy spell that didn't deserve to hit you."
