I'm definitely not an expert on this subject, and I haven't a clue what some of these source books are. However, I'm reading the FR trilogy "Threat from the deep"(I think that's what it is), and two characters caught my eye. One was a dwarven pirate, the other a dwarven sailor. The sailor did say that most dwarves dislike extended sea travel. Just in case anyone wanted to know about that point.
