Ah, Selveem, I must have misread the SRD listing originally. Apologies. Yes, you're right.

On the other hand, if someone goes around and stabs kittens, and then says, "I have mind blank. You can't tell I'm evil." I'm going to point and laugh at them. <.<

Eating? No. Stabbing for amusement? Yes. =P

I'd like to note that no one is saying mind-shield/mind-blank in any way prevent kitten-stabbing from seeming like an evil act. No one is stabbing kittens and saying, "Nuhuh! I stabbed it in a good way! You can't say I'm evil!"

Nobody said they did that, specifically. Why so defensive?

What seems to be the actual problem with the celestial mounts' ability to "shy" away from evils (except for the fact that your noble, intelligent, brave heroic horse/pegasus/pink elephant is behaving like a sissy)? The paladin knows about your alignment? They certainly know that you're probably not a mom-in-law's favorite but what more? The nature of the game prevents anyone to go on a PK-spree or something alike just because they know you're not a goody. Also, you wouldn't accuse a sniffer dog's owner of metagaming either. I'd be more concerned with the "metagaming" (if any metagaming at all) of other players seeing the mount shy. Or your metagaming, seeing the mount shy = celestial mount = owner = paladin ;). How would your PC know why a mount is shying? Plus, it's hardly a paladin character's fault that their celestial mounts are coded to shy around evils. Also, with the fairly low amount of paladin mounts around, there seem to be more pressing issues to fix on the game (except maybe the really sissy echo ;)). For the levelling of your celestial mount mob...You've waited for ages and rped and whatsoever till you eventually recieved your mount. You're really risking it while levelling? :| I'd think a creature that lived/lives on a plane of pure goodness would notice powers/alignments that antagonise everything the creature is. If you experienced a really bad "banana-drama" in your childhood, you will certainly taste the tiniest traces of banana in your juice, no matter how good it has been "disguised" by any other juices. Maybe regard it more as a mean of faster travelling on the game, and mainly as a character- and roleplay developing "extra"? I doubt the celestial mounts are designed to gain advantages and spoil any evil's day they come across.

Just my two cents, best regards :)
