We've had some mixed attendances throughout various weeks and so I'm curious to know if any other time Will suit others better than Saturday evenings EST.

I am generally free during the week apart from Fridays, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday Afternoons.

I don't currently have a mage character so I haven't made an attempt to join in on this RP. If I do ever make a mage, or if something happens IC to incite a character of mine, I would love to join in.

Yup yup, Mystrans, wizards and bards of all alignments and faiths except Sharran, Talonans, Cyricists and other strongly opposed churches to kelemvor are welcome.

This will be held tonight at 19:00 ESt at the same place (School of wonders entrance hall) with the same suggested attendance list.

Wizards, bards and mystrans with faith enemies of kelemvor not welcome.

Hope to get a better crowd next week, same time, same place.

My mistake, I'm having surgery coming tuesday and recovery time is variable. 99% likely I won't be here next week saturday so let's postpone it till the saturday after.

So that will be the 13th august at 19:00 Pm, EST All wizards and mystrans welcome. NO restrictions except to violence and disruptions which will be met with overwhelming force for the prior and a dismissal for the latter.

Let's remember, Even Elminster and Manshoon have sat down for dinner and drinks, if manshoon poisoned the drinks well that's his style and didn't cause any disruptions.

Unfortunately august seems the month for hospital visits. Traffic will be terrible at this time so I won't be able to make today at 19:00

I would urge wizards to still go ahead with this event regardless if people wish to.

I'll post again when my saturdays become less hectic though I wouldn't mind if someone else took over calling these kinds of frequent gatherings.

Thanks for holding this, here are some topics tipping around in my head that people could bring up next week if I'm unable to make it.

Topics on Mystra:
1. The lady of spells has to approve all magic cast, if so, how did Karsus ever cast a spell to steal her magic.

2. Before the fall of netheril, magic was not split into schools. Is the reason schools do not always make sense because Mystra is using them as another method to limit a spellcaster's power?

3. Rumors in candlekeep suggest that Mystryl and Tempus facilitated humans finding the nether scrolls to advance magic and spread the reach of war usin the art. What end game does the lady of spells hav in mind for arcane magic?

Topics on wizarding:
1. What is the least used spell and the worst spell, are they the same and why, how could they be improved.

2. What is the most used spell, and the best spell, what makes them so good and are they the same?

3. The fabled wish spell, theorize on how a mortal could possibly alter the cosmos in such a way without the authorities of a deity.

4. The cormyran War wizards strike me as unique in that they serve a monarchy rather than try and govern themselves. Unfortunate but true that wizards are generally a self centered lot, how have they stood for 1400 years. Maybe app for a story council member to bring Vangerdahast along to this one. I don't think Harroghty would be open to speaking to a room full of wizards even if it was a chance to brag about Cormyr.

And of course the usual allowances for younger wizards to talk about what issues they have been having etc etc.
