Ok,

Found the city, found the place. Now it seems i need to find a person called *Cough, Cough* Sable?

Is this a Mob or a Player? If its a player how do i arrange to meet the fellow?

Been playing a while now and can honestly say i have never seen him on if its a player!

Atraos,

This is something you should be asking in character to other characters. The only thing anyone can tell you without breaching information and conduct rules would be to look at this helpfile; Sable Silare
A sapphire haired male aasimar replies to you 'What would you get Tanya for a wedding present?'
You reply to A sapphire haired male aasimar 'A swift kick to the head. '

I couldn't agree more with pretty much all the posts here. The greatest skill/weapon/ whatever, is the rogue's ability to deny anything they've done wrong. I personally happen to run a thief from time to time, and, of all the pc's that she has met, not a single one has guessed that she is a thief, a poor warrior, yes, but noone has guessed that hidden, all-important fact of her existance. Which may be the main reason I've not had any new thieves whispering in her ear, "Oi! Would you be a thief, perchance?" Anyways,

As for becoming a rogue in the game and joining a thieves guild in the game.

There is little use for a rogue with such a proliferate casters in the game as well as low abilities. As of late I only see people start a rogue for 2 reasons. 1: Rp, they know where everything is and can jump in to being a pseudo-master thief quickly or 2: New player who will soon find out all their limitations in the coded environment (at least till more updates and resources are applied to the trade)

I believe new rogues (mind not all of us turn in to hoodlums or wetboys) should seek out people actively, but when a player goes up to a watch member and asks to be led to a thief or a thief guild... those law abiding citizens should turn a blind eye on RP for a moment and not ruin that lowbies chance later, by decreeing Smuggleburf a known thief the moment they ask, then telling everyone. Maybe feign ignorance and point them towards Travis or any other known thief and give them into the guild and let them actually become the thief, killer, looter. I know alot of people want to know everything so their character will never seem weak, but for the sake of those who dont know much... let it go.

Agreed Cret, sometimes its best to take a step back, put aside character beliefs, and help young folks. It up to the young ones to be smart about it (walking into the market and asking for the guild is a no-no), but it won't kill us to once in a while look the other way and quietly suggest where the level 12 should go for progression. Much nicer to see growing characters rather than another "hasn't logged in for 6 months" alt character the account.

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.
