Hmm, I think the only sightings of me are on facebook. The lil ones are my niece and nephew. (I stopped accepting friends on that account, so don't friend me!)

Happy, happy, congratulations! I'm glad all are well and healthy, that's something nobody should take for granted, even in the modern era.

When I was in the Peace Corps, they told us it would be the "toughest job you'll ever love." (We eventually came to calling our assignment the "easiest job you'll ever hate," but that's another story. I'd still re-up in the Peace Corps without hesitation!) Truth is, if you ever have kids, raising them will truly be the toughest job you'll ever love - and you'll really love that little bundle, and it will be really tough.

I don't envy you the sleepless nights, but when you hear that wail at 3am, take this to heart - I was a skeptic (I wasn't really keen on having kids), but it has proven well worthwhile. Even when Kai tells me it definitely is not his bedtime, even after it definitely is...I still love the little guy sooooooo much!
