How Should Being Thrown in the Abyss be RPed?

The topic subject pretty much explains the whole idea behind this post. I was just wondering, how could you really RP being thrown in the Abyss? I mean, even if for OOC reasons, your character was still there for whatever length of time. So I guess the better question may be, how would you RP your character being thrown in the Abyss?
