Animal Companions and skills

Hey there, here I go again with my rambling....
I was playing with my little tiger today and was wondering something.
Would it not add to the companions to have a set of skills?
For example, felines could hide and sneak in the wilds (same limitations as rangers)
Board could bullrush (would be bash or something), big birds could gouge (like in hampering the visions), ect...
That is just an idea not define skills.. but I think it could add to pet management and rp and fights, it could be a funny addition (not sure about how it would be possible but well).
I mean if my ranger have a tiger it is for 2 reason, the company and the help in fight, now I will not ask it to be super ultra powerful that is out of question and it is no magical beast but it would be nice to have him sneak and hide with me to go jumps on some bandit for example.
I know there is a lot of possibilities in the matter of pet commands enhancement and that is just one idea among many others but I don't know if it would be worth the effort
Thanks for your time,
Brar
