[Component] Crush Charcoal for Soot

I doubt that the subject of this is in proper format, but I think it generally outlines the idea. With the recent advent of DIY componentry, I think this would be a logical and appropriate addition. Using a gem grinder or blunt weapon, you crush one piece of charcoal and it yields anywhere from 2-5 pinches of soot. If %-wise code is done for how often the results are achieved, I'd say 15% yield of 2, 40% yield of 3, 30% yield of 4, 15% yield of 5 -- based off of the idea that you'd lose some between your fingers or on your instrument and on the rare chance that you don't. (But I don't know if that's how random-yield things like this work, so maybe that's too complex. XD)

Even if it was a 1 to 1 ratio, I think this would be a good idea. Not saying to forgo other methods of gaining this component, but it would be a nice alternate option.

I'll second this. Crushing charcoal for soot is a neat idea, but I really hope the other methods for getting it don't disappear.

Don't see any problems with this. I would go with a 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 ratio. I love ideas that give metal grinders more uses.

I'm all for this one. I've noticed some races have a really difficult time obtaining soot, aside from hiring others to get it for them. Count on me to vote in favor :lol:
