prison food

Ok...I have spent about 22 hours logged in the prison. I think I have seen this echo like 60 billion times.

Someone shoves a plate of gruel and a cup of water through a flap in the door.
Someone shoves a plate of gruel and a cup of water through a flap in the door.

Someone shoves a plate of gruel and a cup of water through a flap in the door.

Is there something we can do to slow it down? Or make it quit shoving things in when there are like 15 of each in the room? Cause that is enough to drive someone mad.

During the course of one conversation with two other characters, we managed to get

(102) A bowl of gruel spills over on the ground here. (perfect)
(102) A battered tin mug of water spills over here. (terrible)

Increase the time between ticks to once every fifteen minutes.

Yeah, it is to the point I cannot even eat this stuff anymore. My character is too full to eat it. *cough* I think he is tired of the food and cannot choke it down anymore XD. If we can come up with something, that would be cool. Cause I cannot even empty the room anymore by eating the stuff.

Another solution that could be accomplished with soft coding would be to set a decay tag on the food, so that it rots and does not accumulate. Though doing both the tag and the extension of time could avoid creating a problem with spamming messages of the food being devoured by maggots.
