Heya!
I don't know how this pans out with darkvision but I've found that in circumstances where I can only see a mob by virtue of low-light vision that they aren't showing up as viable targets for ranged attacks.
Thanks!
Low-light archery
Re: Low-light archery
I haven't had this issue with darkvision and archery. Would you give a few more details, please? Particularly the targets and the weapon involved.

Re: Low-light archery
Heya again!
Sorry, I should have included this from the get-go.
The character is a half-elf, the bow is 'a delicate weirwood shortbow', of the variety that can be obtained from the Seldarine temple in Silverymoon (from the mob at Solonor Thelandira's shrine, Ranger Fara Pilininge), and the arrows are 'an arrow with a deep red feather' and obtained from the Tangled Trees fletcher mob (named something like Eyrlyn).
The mobs are the archery dummies at the range in Tangled Trees. During the day I have no trouble hitting them but as soon as night falls, despite their being visible with a look command, the game is telling me they're not available as targets.
I can't remember the specific message from that instance but I just tried another test in Silverymoon by shooting at 'a black bat' in the sewers. The mob is visible from where I'm standing but I'm getting the message 'You cannot find your target.'
Thanks again

Re: Low-light archery
Just affirming that this is still a bug with low-light vision.
To reconfirm I tested with a moon elf shooting into the sewer. Looking into the room produced:
You see A dark sewer tunnel.
a hulking sewer rat is nearby down from here.
Trying to shoot the mob produced:
You cannot find your target.
Editing this to include some odd behaviour with light in general:
In a darkened room you can't see anything in adjoining well-lit rooms, but you can target mobs that happen to be there.
