Supplicated shields in general

Hi there, something I came up with while looking at my unused items on several characters.

Shouldn't suplicated shields be more often Heavy shield instead of light shield?

I explain: All of those came from before the different shield type existence and thus have been automatically made in light shield but when I read : "This large shield embossed with the symbol of Moradin is a gift from Moradin to his most faithful followers." It sounds a lot more like heavy shield to me, and I fail to imagine the warmongering Moradin gives a light shield to his followers which will be bested in performance by any non magical heavy shield...

What do you guys thinks about it?

I agree; especially because Moradin is not likely to have many wizard followers.

You're correct, Brar. It is only light because that was the default type after the transition to different shield types.

I will look into this eventually.

Thanks for bringing it up.

I took Moradin as example, but I think all supplicated shield deserves an analysis on possible change based on desc and utility.

There are a few shields provided via supplication to a deity. I have made adjustments that I believe to be appropriate on the test port. I may make more changes in the future, but that's all for now from me on this.
