Weapon Focus Shieldwork
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if training weapon focus for shield work would give me any kind of shield bonus.

There are already feats designed to improve your ability with a shield. See Shield Specialisation and Shield Ward.

I didn't plan on training it was just curious. Wouldn't shield work be better suited to the "Skills" section?

I'm guessing its because shields have their own slots in the character score and are wielded that they are unique and not average armour, so their skillset might not transfer over from weapons. I don't know though.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
