Toughness

How does the toughness feat work?

Does it add a fixed number of hitpoints when you take the feat?
If it adds a fixed number of hitpoints, is the fixed number based on your level?

Does it add a percentage of the hitpoints you get when you level?

Is it a one time shot, or does it add on every time you level?

Is it retroactive (ie, if you take it at level 5, do you instantly get bonus HP for levels 1-4 as well)?

Enhancing toughness/endurance feat?

From what I've heard from many players, what these feats do is add a single boost of around 1-3 points in the life and movement stats. Considering the value of feat points in the game, I doubt many players would want to train these. Should we boost the power of these two feats, so that they grant a bonus of a substantial amount of hit/movement points or a continuous one per level up?

I sadly took a few of these feats with my character, and sorely regret it. They do very little, in my opinion. I don't even take them in regular D&D. I wouldn't mind seeing an increase in their effect, so that every character and their brother do not have the same HP because they have the same Con.(Or with move as well) But I suppose if it is not changed, I'll still live. I just know that there are better feats out there to take, now that I've spent a few feat points on these. But, you live and learn, and glory came to my rescue. ;)

Hmm, I always thought that the feat increase your health or stamina as if you had gained another level?

And Argentia, unless I am mistaken, each time you level, it rolls a random dice based on your class, so I dont think anyone's HP would be the same.

At least, that is what it does in D&D *grin*

Heh, Glim, you're right about the hit die. But the difference in HP isn't too great between two L50 fighters with the same con.

I know in D&D the feat gives you one extra hit point per level, and it is retroactive. So at, say L13, you would have 13 extra hit points. I'm not sure exactly what it does in FK.
