The Adventurer's Guild Post!

Announcing the grand opening of the Adventurers Guild!

A board has been added to the following Inns around the realms:
The Adventurer's Brisket
Taproom of the Old Skull Inn
The Burning Troll Inn
Myulon's Inn
The Green Cloak Inn
The Pride of Zhentil Keep
Swords' Rest Tavern
The Hearty Fool

Adventurers may take jobs from this board and report to the signed
petitioner through the magical post. Each job will have a description,
and a recommendation of whom should take the job. Be it a group of
seasoned adventurers or a single beginer adventurer. Those who complete
jobs will be offered a reward if they fall under the recommended category.
Rewards will vary per petitioner, some will offer coin, some will offer
a random item and some will offer a unique one of a kind item. All by
choice of the petitioner not the adventurer. New jobs will be posted,
so be sure to always stop and check in!

Petitioners will seek proof of completion in the form of item sent via the magical
post most often, if they are not asking for a direct item!

Recommended adventurers defined:
Beginning: Levels 1-20
Middle: Levels 20-40
Seasoned: Levels 40-50

Just a quick clarification:

As mentioned in my original post you will be rewarded if you fall into the recommended category of adventurer.

The reason for this is to prevent high level adventurers from snapping up jobs appropriate for low levels, and low levels from being brought through a high level job with a high level reward.

While for group instances you may find it appropriate IC to travel at a level out of the recommended category know that you will not receive the high level reward offered if any at all it will be catered towards your level range.

Players who solo runs which are clearly for groups will receive no reward.

I cannot justify holding highs from taking easy things but allowing medium to lows to get high rewards.

Be mindful of your levels, everyone is responsible for themselves. :)

Priority: Medium

Necessity: Removed after one shipment

Task: Blackstaff needs twenty purple worm entrails. These foes can be
found in the Underdark.

adventurers.

Two jobs up still, repeatable. Bigger jobs to come again in the near future, but not without work on the little ones, too!

Great idea Mele, Perhaps there should be one put in Zhentil for evil adventurers to take on?

Evils can go into Waterdeep and check the post there. It's just inside the gate and not specific towards any alignment, as Waterdeep is neutral. :)

It's beyond an orc's reach but I doubt you'd see an orc take the time to read a post much less send a parcel. A Menzo one might be fitting though. :) I love this Adventurer's Guild idea by the way!

Menzo has access to the surface also, and yes my mind for orcs is the same. Perhaps others might ask their aid, but them deliberately going to fulfill a quest is not very orcly. :)

If you cannot fit skins into a box to mail for a current job posting please put them all in a single bag. PM me the name of your alt with them and the name of the container they are in.

New jobs posted today!

I've also got a huge job completely plotted out, but interest seems low with the little jobs sitting undone! Let's get some adventure and some rewards going on and get to a huge battle surprise for high levels!

Just out of curiosity--anyone can complete the tasks even if they're above the level required? I thought I read somewhere that we won't get the posted reward, and that's not a big deal to me; I just didn't want to do it if it was frowned upon. May also explain low interest on the smaller jobs?

Again, this is to prevent high levels from rushing low quests for loot and low levels from being dragged through high levels for loot.

Very, very few players operate with only one alt many have over a handful of varying levels - the opportunity for quests is very open and I hope to see people doing them for the fun of adventure and grouping not just the loot!
