Simple idea for a trade, a way to counterfit coins... cheap alternative, fool's gold type things, to allow people to fool certain shopkeepers or PCs into thinking they have real coin. Brings a lot more interest into other trades such as lapidary trade to check to see whether gems or other such coins are genuine.
Brings in more of a chance in organizations dealing with large sums of money to hire someone with the lapidary trade to get a nice job examining money coming in and out.
Maybe the person with lapidary could even be paid a nice sum by the people giving the counterfit money to lie.

I don't know about this, it seems like something that might be abused. It is interesting to note in rl that counterfiters are usually found out. what would be a nice addition to being caught icly trying to gain from such funds would be not being able to utilize the place you were either spending the faulty monies or being banned from the banking for fear of such coinage.
