Port of Skulls to Waterdeep

Hey there,
Would it be possible to extend the tick times that the boat between waterdeep and SP stays in port in Waterdeep? I've bought passage a few times, the first, admittedly I was at work and missed getting off. The second, I had maybe 3-5 minutes rl? I ran to the bathroom, before hitting Waterdeep, and returned immediately to be back in SP. Just a few extra minutes of breathing room, so we dont have to be attached second by second for the boating trip?

I like that this boat ride (unlike others) doesn't take forever. How about something different? Maybe the captain gives you an extra warning or two once you pull up to the port of Waterdeep? Maybe he even shoves you off if you linger too long, since the boat is supposed to be a one-way ticket?

The idea is that it stays in port longer, not that the time of the voyage is extended.

A better thing would be if it forced you to move rooms off of it when it docked so it is still a nice shorter ride for players who have the time o be watching. :)

Perhaps a delayed forced exit if you aren't there paying attention, where it kicks you overboard and you drift to the plains outside the city? To forestall the drow currently afk and chilling in the dockward.

The delayed force would be awesome. As it stands, a few 'last warning All ashore whos goin ashores' did sound, I just wasn't available to respond. I'd thought that at one point something like this was in place.

If I recall correctly, there was an mprog to shove players from the Shadowrider at one point, but it was causing minions/carts to be left behind when you were forced onto the dock.

Fixed with a forced group action to stand and then go east, maybe?
