Bandolier
Bandolier
I have noticed in order to THROW a projectile one must hold it first. I ws thinking since I have SEEN bandolier in game. That perhaps it should function as a QUIVER instead of a scabbard or otherwise. My line of thinking is this, it takes way to much time to input "sheath, get dagger bandolier, wear dagger, throw west dummy, draw" just to do one thing, why not make it like a quiver where IF you are wearing a bandolier with knives ,daggers, darts, etc then a simple Throw "Item" "direction" "target" AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ONE HAND FREE (like casting a prayer or spell) then your character can simple reach up withdraw said item throw it and get back to fighting. If your worried about it becoming to over powered then simply make it a rogue skill. I think you'll see the thrown projectile skill increase in use and make it more fun for rogues since its more up their dark, shadowy alleyways. Decimus also said something about makinga returning dagger. Are there boomerangs in the game? Re: Bandolier
There's actually a coded knife throwing bandoleer. Its not widely available because it junks the daggers as you put them in and reloads as you through so it 'repairs' damaged projectiles. It was a great item in its day.

Re: Bandolier
Granted I have come up with a alias that allows me to do the closest thing I can come to right now... but here it is.....
"combo=sheath & get dagger squirrel & wear dagger & throw %% & draw"
I type" combo (direction) (target)"
It works but it still requires me to put away my sword and everything, I have cut down the time with the Quick Draw feat, but it would still be nice to see the bandoleer that will do this with just one open hand like a prayer or spell

Re: Bandolier
I'm in total support for this suggestion. Like Tamryn, I've set up an alias, but I haven't take the quick draw feat. Also, I've notice that sometimes the game doesn't like aliases during combat. It's as if the first command entered in a quick succession is overlooked and the game opts to focus only on the second or third entries. A bandoleer or similar item that can be used as a quiver for darts/throwing daggers would be great for characters that are supposed to have quick dexterity as it is.
