Mega thread: Rainy day simple fixes

I thought to make a thread we can throw in cosmetic/unimportant changes for our area people to find in one spot and fix at their leisure.

These things should NOT be bugs.

These things should NOT affect gameplay in any way.

These should be typos, cosmetic changes, suggestions to better something in a simple way etc.

If you already have a post in this thread, simply edit it and add in the new information.

Grammar issues in the base desc for most of the rooms in the daggerford smuggling area

The walls of this long tunnel *is* smooth and dry, much unlike the rest
of * sewers. The ground is dry and hard too. A single brick in the
northern wall glows brightly, providing light to this area. This long
tunnel runs to the east and the west.

should probably be something more like:

The walls of this long tunnel are smooth and dry, much unlike the rest
of *the* sewers. The ground is dry and hard too. A single brick in the
northern wall glows brightly, providing light to this area. This long
tunnel runs to the east and the west.

The description of Melchin's reward is stuck on slippers even if your given something else

exa red
It is in perfect condition.
It is heavy mail and is medium armour.
It is just the right size for you to wear.
It can be picked up, worn on the feet.
It is worn as armour.
It is medium in size and would fit a humanoid.
These slippers made of bright red coloured metal look like they
are of outstanding quality. They certainly won't get damaged soon.

When the 6am Western Light to Daggerford pulls in at Corwell the echo that goes out is 'Captain Jashun Windrunner yells 'In 30 minutes, the Wave Reaver will leave for Holyhead.'.

There's a mismatch between the ship that pulls in and the ship that the captain yells about.

Sorry, yeah, that's what I meant. The Western Light leaves Corwell for Daggerford at 6am. At 5 "30" the announcement is for the Wave Reaver departing for Holyhead.

The posted schedule is accurate, I took the ship back to Daggerford, it's just the echo is off.

An office in the Express Deliveries building
E-A waiting room
The wooden walls of this small office are covered with rather plain shelves
of wood and metal filled with well-ordred bundles of contracts. The office is
otherwise devoid of any decoration, and the only noticeable piece of
furniture is the desk in the center of the room.
A simple rosewood desk covered with piles of parchments sits here. (perfect)
Astaroth works here.
It should be ordered.

In the temple of Mystra:
Shooting Range
E-Gardens of Magi W-Sparring Circle
Targets of various sizes and shapes are arrayed at one end of this
field. Shooting lines are located every twenty five yards, allowing
practice of missle weapons and spells from known distances. A faint
blue haze hangs over each of the targets, allowing practice even in
darkest night. Racks of arrows, bows, daggers, slings, and stones
are located at convienient points along the field.
The sky is cloudless and warm and a cool northern breeze blows.
The hunting master stands here, ready to train the rangers.
It shoulde be missile.

The School of Magic:
Headmasters Office
S-A hallway
The walls are painted a light blue with a border of gold stars. Wall hangings
and tapestrys are placed artistically around the walls between tall narrow
bookshelves. The shelves contain an assortment of books, scrolls, components
and magical objects. A large oak desk is in the centre of the room.
Comfortable blue chairs are arranged around it.
Sharahaster the Headmaster of the School is here.
Tapestries.

Temple of Oghma:
The Scrivener
S-The Font of Kno
This small nook holds more books in its narrow confines than
many libraries in manses, tallhouses, and manor homes across
Faerun. They burst from shelves hanging over a small desk in
the center of the room, itself burdened with scrolls, tomes,
and the paraphrenalia of the scribe. A fallen ink bottle is
feeding a black puddle beside one leg of the desk.
A scribe of Oghma is translating books here.
Paraphernalia.

Cate the merchant of Sune:
l cate
This woman is simply beautiful to look at. A tiny little thing, standing just
under five feet in height, she has been blessed with a dainty figure and
delicate features. Her skin is a pale creamy colour and her hair, which is
worn loose and long, is a shining strawberry blonde. She is dressed in
equisitely tailored clothing of the finest materials.
Exquisitely.

The Chamber of Eternity
W-Darkness
Made shimmering dark stone flecked with quartz, this surprisingly airy
chamber appears largely untouched by the ravages of time. Of particular note
is the floor arrangement covering the eastern part of the hall, compromised
of a grid - each tile bearing an ancient symbol. To one side exists a large,
carved sone pedestal with an engraved tablet upon it.

Ought to be stone pedestal!

River Delimbiyr misses a room, slightly north-east of the road.

These two are dubious, but I report them anyway to be sure:
-The shopkeepers in the basament of the temple of Sune sell stuff only to the members of the faith, but they train everyone. I wonder if the latter is an oversight.
-The animated bushes in deep Ardeep appear with an emote that says they attack you, yet if you are there during the night they don't attack because apparently they lack darkvision!

On this, instead, I feel more confident that it is an oversight:
-The lizardmen in Rat Hills don't have darkvision, while I checked D&d srd and they should have it.

And a small amusing new typo:
Narim is is dressed quite simply; he's wearing an old, threadbare grey
robe, torn sewn back together in several places and tied around his waist with
a rope. His hair is raggedy and doesn't look very clean and he smells vaguely
of rotting vegetables. There's a pouch tucked under his rope belt that holds
several fine tools used in the production of jewellery.

Naril is in perfect health.
Naril is using:
<worn as armour> steel light mail
<left hand> a silver-inlaid turquoise light shield worked with silver designs (perfect)
<right hand> a turquoise steel long sword (perfect)
On the other hand this is chilling:
Pits under Skullport
U-Skull Square D-Pits under Skul
Pits have been dug beneath Skull Island to provide a place
for the training of those that are young and inexperienced in
the world. This area is cleaned and kept meticulously tidy, boxes
stacked neatly and holding a variety of items for sale.
There is a sign on the wall.
The keeper of the store is ready to sell you his wares.

<left hand> a silver-crested light shield decorated with silver coins (perfect)

Eh, we're in Skullport, not in the Midden pits...

Again in Skullport:
Noose's Knots
E-An alley in Low
Ropes of all sorts are displayed about this shop. Two workers sit at a
workbench turning hemp into rope as you walk in. Light shines from above
through suspended lamps to see by. The floor is made of wood, though it is
hardly visable through all the small bits of hemp that litter it.
Noose the old sailor is making a rope here.
Visible.

Here there is a tavern which has the description of the abandoned zombie shop:

Hired Horrors
W-Furlough Street
Offices line the many walls of this stone establishment. Wizards move quickly
about thier jobs, sometimes followed by warriors in plate mail. Many other
creatures are hearded behind a glassteel wall, all very fearsome, the larger
of the creatures hidden far to the back. Blood stains muted by time line the
walls and the floors.
