Spell pouch weight

Could the spell pouches that come as a direct reward from certain quests be weightless?
I ask because of several reasons but the main 3 being.
OOC
1. I don't really think its too much to ask since in tabletop even common spell pouches have a weight of 1 lbs because its assumed different conponents come and go and the pouch itself is just a representation.

2. FK has a pretty good thing going with the searching and gathering of spell conponents, But I like playing the traditional low strength wizard who ISN'T proficient with broad swords or great axes. And while I understand why a noticeable number of wizards choose to go this route in the lower teamwork ratio of a MUD as opposed to always having a party to back you up in tabletop. I'm starting to feel its an unintended side effect of the conponent gathering aspect of the game and I don't really like being punished however unintentional for being a bit of a traditionalist.

3. The spell pouch I specifically keep on me was detailed to have a pocket dimension inside it like pouch / bag of holdig so it really shouldn't weigh anything more than the few grams of silk that makes up its container.

I've found that if you carry less than 10 of any given component a spell pouch will retain very little weight overall. A few years ago, spell components were all mostly evened-out to weigh a pound or less, and then a little later on the shelf-life of components were increased. So I've found its all a manner of managing what you carry at any given time.

Currently I carry max 10 of certain components but alot of them are less than that, a few being just 1 - 3 but my weight on the pouch is still 20 lbs and change.

A few months later and I still haven't been able to figure out a way of escaping heavy load. Most of my weight comes from my container/bag of course, but my spell pouch is stilla bout 20 pounds.

Anymore ideas?

Double check your items. Certain everyday things like shovels and packs way more than others.

Ok, managed to lose 40 lbs which is a definite improvement.

This still leaves me in heavy load lol since I think the light load for 12 ish strength is like 45 lbs.

thanks for the help thus far.
