What would the Chinese Dao be considered? We, the Chinese, consider it a broadsword (longsword category). My friends say that it's a falchion (single-edged blades). It's really big and was meant to be used by one or two hands, so maybe it could be a bastard sword?
And this thing... What an awesome blade. Terry's got to have one of these. People online call this the Maciejowski Bible Falchion because it appears in illustrations in the Maciejowski Bible. I'm not sure what to call it in the Realms.
