Beetle chitin or lack of it

I would like to propose that the beetles in Waterdeep sewers start dropping beetle chitin again. There is at least one low level quest that requires it and it used to be something relatively easy to collect. Since the update to the sewers (the old old update), the beetles no longer drop anything. I haven't found another source.
