No clue whats going on here but:

a blank scroll contains the storm of vengeance spell.
It can be picked up, held.
It cannot be worn with any other armour.
It is small in size and would fit any body type.
You see nothing special.
write
There are no spells to learn.
smo folds the scrolls with a perplexed hmm, "Interesting."
Lustria folds the scrolls with a perplexed hmm, 'Interesting.'
write
There are no spells to learn.
rem blank
You stop using a blank scroll.
p blank
You put a blank scroll in a small wicker basket.
The blessing fades away.

Said scroll is still in her basket if you want to take a look

Thanks

I believe the problem is either A. They are not holding the scroll... or B. The syntax is 'write scroll' and not just write. Not 100% sure on those though.

This isn't sensitive.

Moving to normal bugs, as I agree this isn't sensitive. This way everyone can see the replies and add to the discussion about it.

Using just the *write* syntax with no arguments has worked for every other scroll I've used before on this character as well as others.

I'll note this is a fairly old scroll, about 6 months or so. But apart from that I don't believe I can add anymore info about it.

I think I know what happened here, after a lot of testing. If the scroll is scribed with
scribe 'storm of vengeance'
it can not be written. If scribed with
scribe storm of vengeance
it can. Why the former is allowed to work at all, I don't know: with other spells, it fails, like
scribe 'mass heal'
returns "You have not learned that spell."

Am I figuring anything out here that most casters do not already know?

I see. Upon testing with other two and three word spells, it won't let me scribe them at all in the first place and returns the same:
You have not learned that spell.
When I inclose in '

So I guess this is the problem here with storm of vengeance.

Is this fixable?
