I don't see any limitations or specifics given under the help file for trademarks. I found an old forum post from 2010 saying they were limited to 12 characters.
I just wanted to verify if indeed they are limited to 12 characters max?
Are any special characters able to be used like & or + etc?
Also just to clarify, a trademark will replace the word "masterwork" in the items short description correct?
Trademarks
Re: Trademarks
To clarify if you attain mastery in armour or weapon smithing, you may apply with a design to receive a trademark. 12 characters is the preferred limit, or close to, special characters will be evaluated on a case by case basis, as it is context which matters. And masterwork is not replaced, the armour remains the same and it becomes <item name> stamped with <trademark> at present.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Re: Trademarks
I do see in the help file that you need to be a grandmaster for a trademark, is this correct or is it just "mastery" i.e. master or gm?
Re: Trademarks
Depends on what the trade code has been set to, if you are generating masterwork armour at master level, this seems fine to me, though no rank lower.
