Just a suggestion from a new player

You might want to outline how to make an account on the forums and then how to activate it yourself through the game. If it wasn't for a VERY friendly person who took their time to tell me this, I would have been waiting indefinitely.

:D
Thanks

I agree, this happened to me when I first started. I registered on the forum, then waited for an admin to contact me telling me I was good to go. Turns out all I had to do was activate in game...

EDIT: it may be easier just to edit the registration email you get, telling you to activate the account in game.

The "Help Forums" help file in game give you instructions on how to activate your account. Perhaps something could be put into the character creation process that points a new player to that help file?

Or perhaps something into the forum? I think the problem is that you register to the forum and you remain with the account needing approval, without any idea that to get approval you have to type a command in game.

No matter where, it needs to be seen easily. I think it's a good idea.

I am in agreement also, doesn't matter where, but it needs to be more visible. Simply a large notice on the registration screen on the webpage would suffice.

I think there should definitely be a message on the forum that explains that:
a)you can register accounts with the name of one of your characters
b)you need to activate the account in game

As for the warning in game there is one, when you login, but apparently most miss it. I noticed it for the first time about ten days ago, for the record. So it is clear the warning should be in the forum in my humble opinion.
