Having often been at the wrong place at the wrong time, Mordavus is beginning to think fate may be out to get him.
I randomly chose to have him investigate a wierd feeling, what followed was priceless.

>START OF LOG<
>hmm
You Hmmmm out loud.
>say I keep getting this strange feeling. I think I am getting paranoid.
You say 'I keep getting this strange feeling. I think I am getting paranoid.'

You open the grating.

A misty portal beckons you to the unknown. (superb)

Kaden says 'Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get
you.'
>s Guys!
You exclaim 'Guys!'
Faria raises an eyebrow at you.
A tall, golden-blond, male sun elf pauses, looking over at you.
>s I found a portal in the spot I saw Wormwood surrounded by his zombie
minions.
You say 'I found a portal in the spot I saw Wormwood surrounded by his zombie
minions.'
Faria says 'I KNEW I shouldn't have taken my armour off...'
Faria walks south.
Kaden chuckles.
Kaden asks 'WHo is wormword?'
Ariala says to Kaden '...'
A tall, golden-blond, male sun elf frowns thoughtfully, 'Where was this portal?'
>s Follow me.
You say 'Follow me.'
>END OF LOG<

Long story short, by the time we went back the portal was gone.
I couldn't stop laughing.
That awkward moment when you RP being paranoid on a bored whim and the paranoia RPs back.

I will say i love how this story is unfolding.
It is a great setup for a war between the living and the undead. Waterdeep being a starting area, it may not be the best battlefield for a war with the undead. But as it stands, it makes for a good entrypoint. If we get a couple more people to join in the storyline on both sides we could kick it off. Perhaps create a "front" in one of the little outlying villages somewhere near another town.
