Party of the Tenday

Hear ye, hear ye!

The gates of wisdom have been opened! Our fine host
opens the doors to a humble residence for the first time,
to all who would be so inclined to partake in a rare
gathering of like-minded individuals for a housewarming
most glorious! Scrolls for arcane and divine spellcasters
ranging from the very first sphere to the ninth will be
available for sale.

Proudly catered for by The Purple Haze Inn, consumables of
food, drinks and mind-altering dusts blessed and sanctified
by the Lady of Poison will be served aplenty, as will the
entertainment.

Simply bring a live, indisputably sentient sacrifice, declare
the nature of its innocence, and turn the subject in to be
granted entrance to this exclusive event. As is natural for
events involving such high stakes, we highly encourage you
to attend in your best armor and behaviour. Miscreants will
be subdued swiftly.

Don't forget the coin for the scrolls!

OOC:
Just in case the post isn't clear, do come combat-ready, in the event that there's something we might need to fight! This entire event will be killmode stun, and PKs will be perpetually possible (the evil world is rough, after all!). If you have any ideas on interesting conflicts, or want to be the source of any form of chaos, please send me a PM to check if it's alright first. We are definitely open to ideas.

As for the innocent sacrifice, feel free to bring a PC, an NPC minion, or a major image (ICly it should be treated as a real sacrifice, not your major image). We know some may have difficulty in acquiring a PC/NPC/mob sacrifice, so you can just pretend your sacrifice is actually there and emote away! Come and buy your spells and prayers, or just make a little merry, along with some new allies (or enemies) while you're at it.

Meeting location is inside the goblin encampment near the Beacon, which overlooks the Moonsea just south of it. As there is a programme planned, we highly encourage you to attend from the start to end (approximately 2-3 hours, tops). Do let us know your interest via replies below, so we can adjust the timings accordingly if needed.

Sadly I have a real-life party at that time. Wish I could make it!

I'll be there, if all goes half-way well for me. I should be off work by then, and hopefully home.
Can't wait to see everyone there! :D

We will be turning hot dogs into burnt offerings. Does that count?

Thank you all for coming! There is a lot more I would like to say, but I am more than moved by all the support and want to thank all the individuals who have helped me plan this. I may have stuffed a little too much in the programme, so it dragged on quite a bit. I'll take note for next time, if ever!

Your sacrifices were absolutely inspired and it was fascinating to see everyone's interpretations of what innocence means. The house is now warm and fuzzy and her door is always locked, never open, but very knockable.

From the cooked spellpouch and guards guarding everything on the ground, to the failed sign ignite, thank you all again.

Here's pictorial evidence just for the lulz:

Wanted to chime in and say this was a very fun and entertaining outing. The mood and uncanny peacefulness of a Realms' wide villain shindig was hilarious, but also chilling at times. Definitely a unique event, and glad to have made it.

I have intention to hold THE PARTY of the Tenday again this year around Halloween (spooky...). I'll make it snappier and not drag on for too long like the last time. The itinerary is completely unconfirmed right now, but I think I'd like to keep the sacrifice as an entrance fee, along with another option to bring a meaningful item to toss into the bonfire/throw off the cliff to kick off the event.

The sacrifice thing was a great platform for everyone to showcase a little bit more of their character, and I personally enjoyed watching the actions and reactions (someone walked out when a sacrifice was sent off the cliff). The scroll sale may be removed, streamlined, or put in another event.

Without going on for too long, let me know if you have any ideas you want to execute, be they aggressive or faith-related or not. See this as a platform for you to insert your character. e.g. Bodyguards, waitress, food menu, logistics, party-crasher, mass-PK... For attendees from last year, let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements, I'm happy to hear.

If this year turns out nicely, I hope to make it an annual thing.

We're approximately a month away from THE PARTY (date not confirmed yet). It will be Halloween-themed, have a sacrifice/meaningful item as an entrance fee, and have a short, simple activity per class (tbc).

PK still possible, stun only. PM or otell me if you have any ideas or conflicts in mind.

Hoping I can make it! Fridays are bad for me, pretty much any other evening should be fine (fingers crossed).
