Dwarves and Writing

Post by Nysan » Thu Jul 01, 2004 8:53 am

After an encounter between my dwarf and several possible customers, an idea struck me and I went straight to browsing throught he forums looking for related subjects. My question is, if a dwarf is writing in common (quill and parchment kind of thing) is it possible to write in accentless common or is it necessary to accent it like when dwarves speak? I read the help files and searched the forum and if there was anything, I missed it. I know how birthplaces and living locations effect accents but I wasn't sure about FK's view on writing with/without accents. Thoughts?

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks. Mainly wanted to write out something for future customers and was curious if it was alright to tone down the accents so they can read it better. Thanks again,
