The seers of the storm that live in the far eastern lands of Thay have forecast a
tremendous stormfront that will cover the continent of Faerun. This mass of calamity and
destruction is a few weeks away, but it is coming nonetheless.

However, not all is lost.

The faithful of the Stormlord are able to intercede in the name of those that are not
able to, and are willing to do so, through the offering of tithes and praise. In that
intention, this missive is offered to all faiths, governments, and beings able to parse
the meaning of this letter.

In the coming weeks, faithful of the Stormlord will be visiting the temples, cities and
abodes of those in the path of the storm, offering the opportunity to give what those may
give, in order to deter or redirect the Storm.

OOC: This event is intended to be straightforward to host and easy to compound upon. The general idea is that a time and date will be given for a gathering, in this gathering, an objective must be achieved, it will likely be to make a pile of corpses of mobs(Either naturally monstruous or more innocent types) And offer it to Talos. It might also be constructed in a way that tithes of coin(Collected from monsters/civillians) is offered, or scrolls containing spells, potions, things of potentially destructive value, are.

The gist of the gathering will be that the whole spectrum of the alignment charts will be able to have a say in how the crisis is averted for each specific city. Then a majority call will be made and the gathering starts. A time limit will be given to make it an actual challenge, too.

If this gains traction, a second part of the event will be hosted, where the success or failure to placate the stormlord are followed up on, on the respective areas that were protected. That may range between posts to the message board to describe what happened to fully RP'd out events, we shall see.

The brewing storms gather, the storm is here, those planning to fight it and those willing to join arms to divert it from or unto the innocent and the helpless shall gather. A choice shall be made as to where the forces gathered shall split upon, the sands of the Anauroch tick away in the continental hourglass,

From there, the divination of the first two cities to be felled by the storm shall be revealed by the Storm Herald, and as such, the first of the efforts to either quell or divert the storm may be enacted.

the above place, and we shall kick off the first of these. Flavor and tone of the hunt SHOULD be geared towards something that every alignment can partake in. Hopefully it won't be a clean divide either so we get interesting developments.

P.S: It should also be noted that high or low level alike shall be able to participate. So bring whoever you'd like to take part.

P.P.S: Faith enemies of Talos are able to partake but are asked not to shoot the messenger.

The ramifications of these activities are open to interpretation,
but feel free to engage with this even if you did not participate in
the first chapter. The next chapter will be announced most likely on
the next weekend, with an expected start date of two weeks from now(23/jun is now)
