Relationship (if any) between Tempus and Mielikki

I was wondering, I read the help files for both Deities, both in game as well as on this site, and neither one lists the other as either ally or enemy. So I was wondering, what is the feeling/relationship between these two Deities? How do their followers feel about each other?

Actully I do not even think they have a relationship. Tempus is one of Battles and Mielikki one of nature. I do not rember reading anything upon them being allies or foes. They have no reasons that I know of to be either. Nor do they have any of the same portfolio's. I am pretty sure they are just deities such as Mask and Malar...nothing truely to do with eachother, unless evil and evil, as good and good must come tougther. As for feelings I dont think a follower of Mielikki and Tempus would act nasty or good nessisaryly, it really depends on the charater. Hoped that helped a little bit.

I think Nearraba said it quite well. They are indifferent toward each other. They don't really have any type of relationship. They don't share anything in common. Some might say that war ravages nature, so Mielikki would be an enemy of Tempus. But, Tempus does not cause war. He oversees the battles. Therefore, I think Mielikki would not fault him for any destruction. So, they are neutral toward each other. In this way, there are no real set code of conduct when dealing with a follower of the other faith. As a follower of Mielikki, you can hate a Tempurian or love them. It really doesn't matter.

I was wondering the same thing but about Gond and Moradin. As I read the files on both deities I noticed it said nothing about being foes OR allies. Gond and Moradin are along the same lines and was just wondering.

Some dieties never talk, some dieties hold close working relationships while others only see eachother by accident or if they are visiting. I see allies as having a close tie to that god and working together time and time again. If not friend or foe they might as well be a dentist and a doctor, two seperate fields that rarely have to work together but are not adverse to each other. Gond and Moradin are of different pantheons and though very similiare can be said to work independantly of eachother. That does not mean that they can't get along or a gondar and a moradinian cannot be blood enemies.

I think it would be safe to say that Gond and Moradin, and Mielikki and Tempus (or any other two deities not allied or foes) would be neutral towards each other. As long as the other deity did not affect them. Now in times of war, I could possibly see these two deities coming together. For example: A deity and his followers rage war on a settlement of dwarves and gondites, the deity and his followers destroy the mines and the crafts that the gondites made, thus I could possibly see a RP where the two deities faiths were temporarily allied to battle against the deity and his followers.

I have been wondering the same about Talos and Cyric...I would suppose that it is the charaters choice..but then again..Cyric is suppose to be The One True God..just wondering..thanks for your time.

As far as that goes, you hit it on the nail. Cyric thinks himself as the One True God, so he sees all other faiths as false faiths even Talos and other closely related faiths. Now, the character might ally with a follower of another faith, but that does not change the overall view Cyric has of other faiths.
