Im not sure if it is a bug or if merely norecall doesnt do this, but I ussually have norecall set to:
config +norecall
[+NORECALL ] You fight to the death, link-dead or not.
But if I accidentally go linkdead (sometimes my connection goes screwy)
and I come back, I can check the favor, on one of my characters specifically that loses favor when fleeing, and it is ussually down at least a level (i.e. from favored to respected) from fleeing. I was going to put it on:
config -norecall
[-norecall ] You try to recall if fighting link-dead.
and see if that changes things in the future. Norecall in particular seems to confuse me lately but I would like to ask if:
a. There could be a config setting that would allow one to turn off or on fleeing from combat if gone linkdead
or
b. Maybe norecall could be worded a bit different to let someone know if it will stop them from fleeing or not if they accidentally go linkdead.

That is what I thought, Isolrem, but I have been told to try changing my norecall setting and that there is a config setting that will enable you to stop from fleeing and the only one I can think of that might stop it is norecall.
