Wood objects for fletchery

Post by Kregor » Sun Jun 05, 2005 12:27 am

I would like to include trees in my area that are native to faerun, and I thought it would be a neat thing to have these woods able to be fletched or carved with the respective skills.

Are there any special flags that must be used in the wood object if I create a unique object, or any specific way the short name must be stringed to make sure the wood name shows up in the resulting arrow, etc.?

Also, if we were to generate the object by restringing the dried wood branch (i77) in Waterdeep, would it yield the desired results, as long as the proper strings are changed? -- I believe the woodsman in Ardeep sells the same branch restrung for different wood types, if I am correct in my assumption?

I take it this rollout is why I can no longer cut branches in the forest for fletching with my hand axe and it says I can't find suitable wood to chop?
