I've noticed that one could be immune to fire and still be hit with full damage from flame arrow. What causes it to do so?

Flame arrow is also part physical. There is the flame, which is fire, and the arrow, which is err...piercing/nonmagic.
Glim asks Gwain 'Can I be on the watch?!?'
Gwain raises an eyebrow.

Ah, that makes it seem a lot more reasonable. Does that also mean it strikes for less damage?

I would think so, yes.

Resistances to the various effects all have levels of resistance, while you may show as immune when you type resist you are not truly 100% immune, you are at a low level of immune that is below total immunity even though it says immune.

I believe that the names on the resist list are just titles for how high you are on the scale of resistance. For example, two people can both have the strength level 'Herculean,' but one can be very much higher than the other. Therefore, there are varying levels of immune.

I could be wrong, but a long time ago, before I ever had a wizard, I heard the fable that flame arrow dealt acid damage. Perhapse that MAY be the case? Can someone yea or nay that for me?
Thanks a ton
~Elenthis.
Far away and across the field, the tolling of the iron bell calls the faithful to their knees to hear the softly spoken magic spell.

Plus, there are thingies that wizards can do to make their spells break resistances. So can some mobs...
