The Dreaded Typo Beastie

Post by Andreas » Tue Jun 28, 2005 9:28 pm

It lurks in the shadows, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting typists. Before you know it, your sentences look like a foreign language! Oh no! Whatever shall I do? Wherever shall I go?

Please, if you make a typo, don't use OSAY to correct it. The OOC is far more distracting than the typo. Just keep roleplaying and I'm sure everyone will understand what you really meant. If not, then someone can ask via otell for clarification.

ROFL, alright! I'll stop using Osay for corrections :) Sorry. I didn't realise it was annoying people.
Your punch viciously hammers a shark's abdomen.
A shark is stunned, but will probably recover.

sometimes if there is space before someone says something and it is a glaring error I will repeat the sentence correctly. I suppose this can be seen as oocly repeating or icly repeating myself to hear my own voice:D. This works, but I do not reccomend it in excess.

That's what I tend to do as well.. it's way better for continuity than Osay though...
What matters the most is how well you walk through the fire.
