Appear Magical

Like the continual light spell, this adds a magical flag in front of the object without any extra effects. Another spell to confuse the amateur between a priceless artifact and a fake.

There is an actual spell for this. I think it's called Nystul's Magic Aura or something like that, but I don't own any FR books so I'm not 100% sure if it even is part of the campaign setting.

Unfortunately, I believe it is the magical flag that determines on a weapon whether it can hit a magical creature or not. So, the result of this spell would open up abuse of people taking "fake" magic weapons to beat up on "real" demons and such.

In short, the magical flag means "real" magical.

As that stands, there already is a way to temporarily make an item magical, ask an enchanter ;)
