What deities do these monsters worship in fk? Okay, not monsters. Bugbears, Goblins, and Hobgoblins.

Especially the clergy, if there are.

A cursory search online reveals:

HRUGGEK
Worshiped By: Bugbears
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Domains: Chaos, Evil, Trickery, War

MAGLUBIYET
Worshiped By: Goblinoids
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Domains: Destruction, Evil, Planning, Trickery

Hmm... whether or not Gruumsh would be flexible enough for any greenskins, I am not sure. In Forgotten Realms, I'm not sure. FK, however, might make different allowances.

If not, I'd say just RP following one of those two... any other information though, I'm not sure. I'll try and do some research about these two... anyone else have any?

Found something on the goblinoid one:

MAGLUBIYET
The Mighty One
Greater Power
Male
Lawful Evil
Attributes: Depths, War, Discipline, Rulership, Goblins
Domains: Destruction, Evil, Law, Trickery, War
Symbol: Bloody Axe
Typical Worshippers: Goblin and Hobgoblins, especially warriors and chieftains
Raiment: Conical hat, scale mail, gray-green apparel
Preferred Weapon: Battle Axe
Holy Days: New moon

Maglubiyet (ma-GLUB-i-yet), the Lord of the Depths and Darkness, rules over his people with an iron fist, he is the patron of aggression, war, and rulership. He appears as a massive goblin with skin like pitch, and eyes of crimson flame, bearing a coal-black axe dripping with gore. Unlike the orcish tribes, all goblin and hobgoblins worship Maglubiyet first, though they may also honor other Powers. Maglubiyet is similar in many way to Gruumsh, the Orc Power, in that he wishes to see war waged for the glory of his people, and eternally urges them on to conflict and strife.

Maglubiyet keeps a watchful eye on his servant deities, lest one usurp his power. Maglubiyet's clerics keep order within the tribes, but rarely lead them directly, they prefer to guide rather than rule.

Maglubiyet demands human (or demi-human) sacrifice from his people on each new moon. These sacrifices are always decapitated with a single axe blow, following by a burnt offering of their heart. After success in battle (regardless of the phase of the moon), sacrifices will be offered up from prisoners that have been captured. Dwarves and humans are the preferred victims, but orcs, halflings and elves are also welcomed.

I have a copy of the slayer's guide to all to most of the new races. It has a section on how to RP that race. If you guys want, I can post some of that up for you.

So will we be talking RP-only faith until new dieties are coded?

Gods, please don't open the new races to human dieties.

New race priests

Out of the new races, which gods are the priests permitted to follow? Here are some I've HEARD but am not quite sure of.

centaur - Mielikki
wemic - Malar
earth genasi - Chauntea
water genasi - Umberlee
goblin - Gruumsh
half-drow - Lloth

Etc.

The reason I ask this is that I have a goblin priest, and was mostly curious if it would be feasible for her to follow Talona. What other deities are acceptable for the races I mentioned above and other races as well?

Thanks. :D

From http://www.forgottenkingdoms.com/board/ ... php?t=3599

It was a discussion of what gods are worshiped by bugbears or something like that...the pertinent part being that it was closed with this by mystra's player...
We are NOT coding new deities at this time. We are NOT accepting non coded deity applications.

You will need to choose an existing god within the game to follow.

Gruumsh I am sure will accept some of the monster races. Other evil gods would be interested too.

Sharni
Therefore, your goblins/bugbears/ could follow him, I think.

If mystra's player couild give some clarafication on what other evil gods would be most appropriate, that would be great, though I think that you could make case by case decisions on that.

Just to say, wemics are NOT allowed to be evil (not sure why). So the only alignment that might possibly be able to follow Malar is TN. All others should probably follow some other nature deity.

Wemics aren't allowed to be evil, as for the most part they aren't as a race.

They are nomadic huntsmen. Not to be confused with Lamia, which are in fact, always evil.
