Centaurs/Wemics and Slice

I was just gonna say, could perhaps centaurs and wemics automatically get slice?

Ide say wemics mostly because they live in a tribal society and young hunters and taught to dress and clean their kills from a small age.

Centaurs im not really as sure of, but they seem to be very nature oriented as well.

Just an idea,
Thanks :)

I'd say if you're a centaur or wemic and you want slice, just join the rangers/druids guild. I don't know if wemics can be rangers but I know centaurs can, and both can become druids.

Arguably, because of the era of society that FR is based in, there are probably plenty of non-ranger and druids who would have the backwoods skills necessary to hunt and kill, whether or not they are wemics and centaurs. Arguably, it could be made an everyman skill because of that.

But as I gather, the skill is allocated such that there is a trade/skill unique to certain classes and guilds. Much like other skills have been shifted from one guild to another for the sake of having a characteristic skill. I echo that if you want to slice, become a druid, or ranger, or a malarite ;)

*chuckle* Done all of that.

Just was thinking of something different. I still think itd be much better as an everyone skill. But thats already been discussed. :)

I think it would make a lot of sense. Both wemics and centaurs live in hunter-gatherer societies.

*chuckle* Have to admit, though, that I picture wemics preferring their meat a bit on the raw side.

Well, I do too, Andreas. But you cant really eat corpses without being able to slice them, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of hunting unless you merely RP it.

Just because you slice up the body doesnt mean you have to cook it. ;)
