Weapon Focus- How do you train it?

I have found two people who can train weapon focus, but I don't know hw to get it. First of all, does it focus on a specific weapon, or is it for the different weapon categories? Also, does the person have to be able to train that kind of weapon?

I have tried:
train 'weapon focus' 'double-edged blades'
*trainer* cannot help you focus that.

Neither person I found could train double-edged blades, though, so that could be the problem.

The same as with spell focus, if they're going to teach you anything to focus on, they need to teach not just the feat, but the skill you want to focus on itself.

Bah, dang it. Well, it was worth asking. After all, it's not covered under "help weapon focus" and I've never done spell or weapon focus. Anyway, thanks for the answer. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
