New Spell System:What will it do to actions which cost mana?

How will brewing/scribing and communication via amulets of comm be affected by the new spell system's "removal" of mana? Will mana be kept just for those actions, or will an entirely new system be put in place?

what about people who are DYING to know?

will there be an announcement first to prepaire us for all that is coming... or will it be implimented and THEN the announcement comes...
