Current Faiths & Faith Managers

All right.
I'm new.
So I get to have all sort of boneheaded questions.
(Hush those who know me OOCLy and know I ALWAYS ask questions.)
Is there somewhere that tells the full list of ALL the Gods that are available in game and who the Faith Managers are? And I do mean all. A comprehensive list so if someone has questions about this faith or that, trying to figure out who to speak to oocly or icly about being part of that faith, we know who to run to for our silly little questions?
The reason why I ask, is that it's all well and good to wait for people to appear online with the white "faith manager here" sticker on the who's list, but there are some I have NEVER seen, but you would think they would have one.
Like Tyr. (That's Justice right?) You would think that the God of Justice would be one of the more important faith managers in Waterdeep. You would think, concidering how much the city is all about Law and Order. (I love that show!)
My other question to go along with this, is that being a Faith Manager, that means that character is known to be the leader of the faith, yes? So if you have never met them before, and you find out their name, you would know that they are some big cheese with the gods yes?
I am curious on the whole ettiquite with that one. Concidering how some people use the greet command and how others use the greet command. It seems like there are a couple different styles regarding this, and so I am asking for clarification if it's all right to claim you at least know the name of the Faith mamager iC or if it's bad ju ju and you gotta talk the conversation around to them telling you that they are the big cheese.
Anyways, yea!

Help heroes will give the option of viewing a slightly older list of faith leaders, though there have been significant changes in the last few months and some are no longer relevant. Some faiths will have more than one faith manager depending on the decision of the deity incharge of the faith. The website offers a full list of the gods currently available on the mud. If you are having trouble finding a faith manager there is no problem with asking others icly who they are and where they are most often found. Also if you are interested in joining a faith you can still offer one prayer up to alert the deity or other admins to assist you if you cannot find any help from faithed pc's online. Bear in mind though, that most faith managers and imms have real life commitments that will often or not take them away from the mud, just be patient and eventually they will assist you when there is time. Do the best you can and just enjoy the mud as best as possible.
edit: And in response to your second question, it is possible to know the history of someone based on heresay, I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that Faith managers can be sought out even if you don't know them, not in the sense that you can automatically know the name of an ungreeted faith manager, but in the way that you might know their name or such based on the rp that you heard from another person. I am a bit iffy on that though.

I believe a list of the gods in the game can be viewed by entering the command 'wizlist'.

Help deities to show lists of all available deities and orders and other information regarding faiths and the faithing process.
The help heros list is very much out of date with regards to faith managers who are actually in those positions. Non-clerics are now faith managers and they do not show titles on the who list.
As for a current list of faith managers I'll put one together this weekend and post it on the forums and format a more current helpfile.

What is being done about the many faiths that don't currently have a faith manager? How does a hopefull work with the faith to join? What are the qualities that are being looked for for potential faith managers?

Let me answer that one again for you. :)
Faiths w/o FM's will be managed by the God. If the God is not played another God will fill in for him. :)
As for the qualifications, they're the same they always have been without level or job restriction. :)

About 6 topics down in the deities and faiths forum (the one you posted this thread in) is a thread titled Current High Priest List.

I am Very much aware of that list. I posted my questions due to the fact that it is two months since that list was posted. I didn't know if any progress has been made with the 11 faiths that don't have a manager.
Pardon me for bringing it up again! Its just tough to rp with hopefulls and try to tell them that it could be months before they can get any spells, for the priests, or recognition for their rp. Simply because we don't have a faith manager.

The work done to create faith managers for all 32 deities was on the basis of active players and Imms and invariably some gaps were left.
I don't fault anyone for raising the question or for players wanting to get on with their roleplay, but please do bear the following in mind :
There has never been a time I can recall when all deities were under constant active control. All players whatever their role within the faith have real-life committments and time zone differences to contend with.
Imms of other faiths will try to respond to these hopefuls, but this comes lower down the order of priorities - after all our admin tasks, special areas of interest, own faith, important roleplays etc are dealt with.
Remember, things were far more difficult before the very innovative changes that Mask and Garl brought in for us on faiths, faith management and questing etc. Of the eleven with no obvious faith manager, two Deities are not yet in game. Four have active Immortal players who for whatever reason have not yet found a faith manager or prefer to deal directly with their followers.
Which leaves five faiths that might prove problematic, mainly due to no obvious candidate for faith manager or currently no way of getting the owning Deities to nominate one.
I believe in being pro-active with these things so I'll raise the question on the Imm forums and we'll see what we can do to fill in the gaps on the list.
If anyone has any points that they feel require raising, PM me and I'll add them in to the debate. I say PM rather than suggesting posting here, because I dont want this thread to turn into anything unpleasant.
PMs are better for the soul
When all is said and done though, consistent play without regard to whether or not you have been faithed is the key to being noticed and having someone step in to help.

That happened to me with one of my alts that has no Faith Manager or an active imm for that deity. I just sent an application to
applications@forgottenkingdoms.com, and imms dealt with giving a quest for faithing. So, not having a faith manager or an active deity for that specific church, doesn't mean you cannot be faithed.
