Good Day Everyone! Griggs Brierfeet here, Aspiring Bard and Servant to the Church of Wisdom.
Today is the Ninth day of the Month of Summertide, and Have I got news for you!
The soon to come Lawmakers meeting is in great anticipation for who knows what laws is in store for the great City of Splendors.
Jaenoic, A Member of the Watch and Servant to the Crying Lord Ilmater has expressed her excitement for the meeting.
Jaenoic accompanied by Algon of Tempus, Raona Hopeful to Tyr, Deathlord Gwain Rambrash, Maybel of Tyr, Sean Vallar of Tyr and last Caelnai of Selune make up this lawmaking council that is to decide what is deemed acceptable by the city.
In other news, Gwain Rambrash as Deathlord and Corporal of The Watch has made it know that the race known as Tieflings, a halfdemon race is banned from the city of Waterdeep...Speaking with Jaenoic and Sean Vallar both members of the lawmaking tribunal I got a piece of the information.
Until a law has been made, Tieflings are indeed banned from the city, Has Corporal Gwain taken his position too far and banned a race based on bias opinions, Can we condemn a full race based on just some of the actions we have encountered.
As we await the Lawmaking to begin we can only pray that Unbiased opinions and Blind Justice will come out ahead.
Next we are to speak of wanted criminals from the Watch.
Angarato a Druid is wanted by the watch for murder, which is a High Crime.
And Keinro, a tall steel eyed human, is wanted for attempted murder...
Both are considered dangerous, and not to be taken on alone.
As Lady Jaenoic said "I think it be important for the public to know of criminals who may threaten them." You couldn't have said anything better Jaenoic!
I am here with Ninde, A Elf of the Great House of Aelorothi...Speaking about recent events. After speaking to her about the recent attack made and murder made by the elven blood."Wild Elves are not hard to anger." says Ninde
Are not hard to anger? If this is the case, we have banned a race that has not commited any murder in the walls and allowed a short fused race that can attack us any moment, and hold themselves above our laws.
"Such a question for Ar'Tel'Quessir, and my answer would be yes, my kin is far better than humankind." says Ninde, After speaking to her about human law in this city.
This is Griggs Brierfeet reporting starting my weekly report in praise to Oghma.

A public answer from Gwain Rambash:
Gwain Rambash would like to point out the following corrections.
The Tieflings are not being banned, they are being asked to leave when spotted, those that cannot be found will certainly have little trouble moving around Waterdeep. Those discovered are being asked to leave for their own safety in light of various mobs of people and dangerous individuals that might raise trouble or harm them. That this proctective measure is neccesary is sad, but at this time and age it is needed to ensure safety and moderate civil control. Gwain went on to say, that even handed reporting might be neccesary and Griggs should take a bit more time to make sure his paper is free of bias, unless, as Gwain put it, the newspaper publisher wish to be known only as a tabloid with little real substance.
ooc: Gwain would like to remind everyone to read the wonderful Tiefling Helpfiles available in the mud.

Good Day Citizens of the Realms, It is Griggs Brierfeet here Aspiring Bard of The Binder.
Today is the Twenty-eigth day of the Month of Highsun, and as
always I have news for you! In the city of Tantras there seems to be
something crawling, perhaps in secret, but no longer...Thanks to Kilaad the
Archivist we have our headline story! Priests of the Former God of Strife
have been spotted walking its streets, and in what month? That is right...The
HighSun. Could this play into this omnious prediction that has been called
forth? Will something dire be happening? What have the fates in store....time
will tell. Our next line of news is a retraction made by Gwain, Corporal of
the City Watch. Diplomacy at work indeed in the City of Splendors, or is it
just a backdoor and subtle way as not to draw the anger of the entire
Tiefling populace. The Tieflings are /not/ banned as Gwain has said, just
escorted from the city if seen. Wondering what word that could be used
for...For it sounds like a ban. We thank the City Watch though, for their
great service to the City of Splendors, may you continue to do such a great
job! Our next line of news...A Glitterbright approaching the city of the Dark
Sun? In recent events Meekir, A Priest of Garl approached the city of Zhentil
Keep and was attacked on site. In this time and age, we all know who Zhentil
Keep belongs to, and ask why would a Priest of Garl be traveling to the
horrid city? Speaking of such evil, We turn our attention to Keinro, a wizard
of the God Talos...We have reports of his attempted assasination on a
Priesstess Misina to the Church of Magic. What could be his intentions behind
such an attack, is there something to this story that is being left
out.....Only time will tell. Our final story is on Angarato, A
druid...Asterid, High Druidess has announced the Church will give no aid to
the Priest in his attempts to outrun the law. Showing that the Church of
Chauntea belives in the right law.
This is Griggs Brierfeet, Aspiring Bard of Oghma saying "Only time will tell...." until next time May the Binder Inspire you all.

Clarifications from the High Druidess Asterid Kairesh:
The Church of Chauntea has not stated they will or will not aid Angarato's run from the law. In a conversation with Gwain Rambash, the High Druidess informed the Lawmaker that she would handle Angarato from the faiths perspective, however as far as the Law in Waterdeep is concerned the Church of Chauntea remains truely neutral. While the High Druidess is thankful this did not disturb the Church's trade and sale of their harvest, she feels the Church has no place in the Laws of the city and they will neither force Angarato to go to the city for trial, nor force him to run from the law.

Good Morning Citizens of the Realms! My name is Griggs Brierfeet, Aspriring Bard of Oghma and today is Firstday, 20th day of The month of Fading.
Have I news for you, We will start off with a few great announcments. First Raona of Tyr has joined the ranks of the Church of Tyr becoming an intiate and also taking the position as Head Lawmaker of Waterdeep. She expressed her excitement by providing drinks for the many mass that were gathered in the square of assorted juices. The next announcement is the marriage between Mariela and Dayhlan of Sune, Although no date has been set both are ready to declare themselves for each other in the name of love. May Sune bless. Now, for our headline story. More information has came in on the movement of the Black Hands forces, Seen having a discussion with what revealed himself to be a Paladin of Torm in the city of Tantras and then following with a discussion
with the Master Merchant, Although we know that the Black hand was Defeated his followers move about in this time and with omens we will keep you posted to the best of our ability. Wonderful news has broke out, Potions are becoming more abundant, that is right Wizards Miriel the White and Spaki of Mystra have begun to announce potion sales. Although I didn't get a chance to speak to Spaki, seeing as he was busy, I did get to speak to Miriel and seeming as she was excited she told me all potions would be ten platnium. Each potion would have a total of up to three spells in each potion. She also declared discounts for bulk buys, It seems Waukeen may be working her blessings again. Last but not least we have a sad story of a dwarf, information has been passed along this dwarf named as Balmek was transformed into a rat, and while causing some disturbances was killed by a guard of Waterdeep. Well that is all we have for you this day, May wisdom spreadand news flourish.
This is Griggs Brierfeet saying Only time will tell.

Good Day to all of the Realms, Today is the Firstday, 30th day in the Month of the Drawing Down. And this is Griggs Brierfeet, Aspiring Bard and Questee of Oghma The Binder.
Big news has happened with the past few days, With the upcoming wedding of Daylahn of Sune and Mariela of Selune they are faced with grave events.
Words come that Mariela was sold to a Demon by two tieflings, In which she fled and came to Waterdeep. The Officials of the city accepted her into the city causing the demons to flood the city and cause mass killings. Many were killed and bodies left among the devastation. The Wedding is planned to happen within the next few days but it only makes us think what is to happen if the bride, Mariela, is wanted by demons. Any other news will be given as soon as it comes in.
I had a chance to sit with Mariela and get her reaction to such events.
Mariela: "My heart goes out to the families and friends who have had those among them injured in the attacks upon Waterdeep by the demons. I thank those of the North Gate repair service for their dilent work in replacing the gate."
Mariela: "It is an honor to be from Waterdeep, the city who not only is a busy merchant center, but honors their own by protecting them."
Mariela: "As for the demon, I do not belong to it, nor shall I ever. My soul is not for sale by tieflings with nothing better to do than to cause chaos."
We hope to get any comments or further testiments. All these events happened outside of Waterdeep and claims were made that the Tieflings did come to Waterdeep after Mariela fled there, to talk with her.
News comes about a Lamia Worshipper has been causing attacks on the rangers and nature followers of Ardeep, They worship a Demon Prince and sport a sigil of a Black six fingered hand, Any news that can be given or information is encouraged to do so. Although it is believed the worshiper was taken care of and disposed of. With the insights of the six fingered hand raising from the desert it may have predicted these attacks. Any other news on this matter will be given as soon as it comes in.
This is Griggs Brierfeet, Calling out to any with news and encouraging all to spread wisdom and knowledge.

Greetings people of the realms, Today is the 15th day of the Month of Sunsets! This is Griggs Brierfeet, Aspiring Bard of The Binder.
Many events have happened over the past month that may have caught wind. The greatest story is the place of Nature known as Ardeep has fallen to a gate to the Abyss. The demons overwhelmed the area dedicated to nature known as Ardeep with the voice of a lady sounding over the battles saying "This is the price you pay for protecting the female."
In recent events a meeting was held with the Arcane about what to be done to close such a portal. This meeting uncovered a ritual involving the great artifact known as Demonsbane, a mace of great power. A group was headed by Jaenoic of Ilmater to recover this great artifact, soon we will have more news on their success.
In recent events two Tieflings known as Red and Blue were inside Waterdeep giving their side of the recent events proclaiming that Mariela stayed with the two half-demons on her own free will and held discussions with them on her own time, but when a group of "concerned citizens" arrived they asked the two to leave and they did so with no arguement, but when left the city was hunted down by a group of hunters which included Daylahn of Sune, Jaenoic of Ilmater and Maybel of Tyr. Along with Pheobe and a few others. This group attacked the two tieflings out right, The Servant of Ilmater assisting in the murder of the tiefling known as Blue and Maybel of Tyr not mediating any true justice being given for no trial was given. But most was the slaying of the demon out of hate and spite, a decapatation of the half-demons head for the bloody ending of a life.
With such events we go back to the recent knowledge found. The black hand symbol being thrown about and being seen we have had much opinions as to what it really is, Two opinions have been given as to being a symbol of Bane and his servants that still lurk till this day or to be the Symbol of Graz'zt a Demon lord of the Abyss. Any other knowledge that is out there and any be willing to give to light the path to the knowledge of the events please come forth.
Demons have attacked not only Ardeep, but have attacked the City of Splendors in recent times. This shows that these events not only cover the nature shrine known as Ardeep or the Great City of Splendors, but it covers the realms. Any able to help are encouraged to step forth and assist. With great anticipation we await to see what will be done with the mace known as Demonsbane, Many have heard word that it has been asked to rid the demons of the Old school of Wonder in the place of Ardeep. Word has made that a special meeting was held at the School of Wonder north of Waterdeep recently. Any with news on this meeting is encouraged to spread word of its proceedings.
Any news of this situation will be reported in the next days.
This ends the news for now, This is Griggs Brierfeet, Aspiring Bard and servant to the Church of Wisdom.

Good Day Citizens of the Realms,Today is the 25th day of the Month of Sunsets.
Our headline story, A Squire of Torm shoving a Watch Wizard of Waterdeep.
Wrevas Roaringhorn, A Squire in Training, and a young boy in hopes of joining the Church of Torm was in the Market Square on the day
the busy marketsquare crowded by many people was in bustle when the young squire shoved a passing by Watch Wizard of Waterdeep
that was in patrol of the square. The Wizard, after being shoved by the young squire put said Wrevas on temporary suspension of the watch.
With growing seperation the guard of the square tried to defend Young Squire Roaringhorn, but the Watch Wizard has begun the investigation
of this young squire and his assault on her. As the many have seen this it has grown great questions Wyllium, a young man in the square spoke up
"I would not want someone that shoved their superiors about patrolling my streets." As this situation goes under further investigation its newest learnings will come to show.
Our next story is of Vezain Kendlun, A Hopeful Tempurian of the Realms.
As stated in previous issues the wedding between Daylahn of Sune and Mariela of Selune was a great event in anticipation, At this event it seemed that many were in attendance. Including the Hopeful Vezain Kendlun, Who was invited by Daylahn of Sune to this grand event. After this grand event was finished young Vezain Kendlun was transformed into a woman by the Goddess of Beauty and Love, Sune. Although Vezain would not comment on such events, he did make the saying "If my story gets published, You best watch your back outside the walls of this city." Now in this day and age many people have come to proclaim they wish truth and honest reports, that will only play to their advantage, but when it does not they are upset.
In other news Sparlen of Tymora showed that luck can find you no matter where you are, in recent actions rescued a young man from the orcish regions from what could have been the boys last life. The Tymoran risked his own life in the attempt showing that fortune does infact favor the bold.
The great group led by Jaenoic of Ilmater searching for the mace known as Demonsbane returned empty handed, Meeting a race known as the Azer a race of fire dwarves of the mountain. Any information on this race is greatly appreciated and will aid in the retrieval of the mace.
This is Griggs Brierfeet saying unleash the knowledge of the Kingdoms. May Oghma bless.
